Man Arrested in Connection to Fatal Hit and Run That Killed One Man, Five Dogs
NHP says a man was arrested in connection to a fatal hit and run crash that happened at Six Mile Canyon Road on Thursday morning. They said a pedestrian and his five dogs were killed.
The Nevada Highway Patrol (NHP) has released new information on a fatal hit and run that happened near Dayton on Thursday morning.
They said Lyon County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to the area of Six Mile Canyon Road and Roughing It Road for the crash.
They said the driver of an unknown car was driving westbound on Six Mile Canyon Road and 59-year-old Michael Kuntz was walking eastbound with his five dogs.
NHP says the car crossed over the center of the road and struck Kuntz and his dogs. All of them were pronounced dead at the scene.
NHP says the Lyon County Sheriff's Office investigated numerous tips that lead to the identification of the car, and 38-year-old James Parisi was arrested in connection to the crime.
