Aces Release

Reno tallied 14 runs on 15 hits and four home runs in their 14-3 victory over the visiting Tacoma Rainiers Wednesday night. Jon Duplantier made his first Triple-A appearance since May 24 after a brief stint on the Diamondbacks’ Injured List. Duplantier went 3.1 innings, allowed one run on three hits and struck out three. He was lifted in the top of the fourth inning for right-hander Braden Hagens who earned the win in relief. Blake Swihart joined the Aces hit parade tonight on Major League rehab. Swihart went 1-for-4 in his first Triple-A action of the year with a homer and a walk. Domingo Leyba, Andy Young, and Juniel Querecuto all homered as well. Reno will go for the series sweep tomorrow night against the Rainiers.  Right-hander Taylor Widener will take the mound for Reno and will be opposed by southpaw Sean Nolin for the Rainiers.
