Rescue Crews Search For Teen Who Jumped Into Truckee River

Rescue crews searched for the 16-year-old Hispanic boy after he jumped from the Glendale Avenue bridge near E. 2nd Street after talking with Tribal Police.
Reno Police took over the investigation due to an alleged domestic disturbance in their jurisdiction.
They say the teen also had an active probation warrant.
The search was called off around 4:30 a.m.
They believe he got out of the river on his own and left the area.
There’s no description of the teen at the time of this writing.
