UPDATE: The Nevada Highway Patrol says the preliminary investigation shows the driver of the driver of the F-150 allowed the vehicle to cross over the center lines into oncoming traffic, hitting a white 1999 Chevrolet Silverado.

They say the driver of the Chevrolet pickup, 37-year-old Hugo Parra-Solis of Carson City succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.

The Nevada Highway Patrol says one person was arrested after a fatal crash on U.S. 50 near Round Hill.  

The patrol says two trucks collided on the highway at about 7 a.m. Thursday. NHP says a preliminary investigation shows that the F-150 driver crossed over into the center lane line. 

The driver of the Ford F-150, Jerrad Rominguez will be booked into jail in Douglas County on suspicion of DUI. 

NHP says the debris field is about 150 feet long. 

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office is assisting with the investigation.
