Governor Steve Sisolak is scheduled to sign several landmark bills from the 2019 legislative session on Wednesday. 

Senate Bill 135 empowers state workers to collectively bargain for the first time in Nevada history.

Assembly Bill 456 raises the minimum wage to $12 an hour by 2024.

Senate Bill 312 requires employers to offer employees earned paid leave, and Senate Bill 166 codifies protections for equal pay.

Senate Bill 448 authorizes up to $10 million per year in tax credits for the creation of affordable housing.

Senate Bill 425 expands federal funding the state receives to assist vulnerable populations with affordable housing.

Sisolak is scheduled to sign the above bills at approximately 2 p.m. in Carson City.
