UPDATE: The Carson City Sheriff's Office says they received a tip from a citizen about the white Dodge van from one of the suspicious vehicle cases.

They said detectives located the van and 57-year-old suspect Adam Autry at the QuickStop gas station on Roop Street on Tuesday.

They said he was taken into custody and charged with attempted kidnapping, aggravated stalking and threats.

Original Story: The Carson City Sheriff's Office says they are investigating three separate suspicious incidents during the past few days involving confrontations between female pedestrians and possible solicitations.

They said the first incident happened near the Governor's Mansion in Carson City on June 8. They said a juvenile described a black, four-door sedan pulling up next to her while she was jogging and took pictures of her. They said a video from security cameras in the area showed the car described driving by the juvenile at the time. The juvenile said the car was seen driving by her residence on June 10 in the central west side of Carson City as well.

The second incident was on June 9. Carson City Sheriff's Office says a woman said a white Dodge van with California license plates 62242K2 followed her to the Jacksons Gas Station at 1615 East 5th. Carson City Sheriff's Office says a male driver solicited her for sexual favors and caused a scene inside the business attempting to get her to leave with him. They said detectives identified the owner of the van, who is currently in custody at the Carson City Detention Facility on unrelated charges. They said he's cooperating with police and has identified another male suspect who was driving the van on the day of the incident. Carson City Sheriff's Office says he's identified as Adam Autry and detectives are in the process of trying to contact him.

The third incident was on June 10 around 4:30 p.m. Carson City Sheriff's Office says a woman told detectives she was walking in the area of Carmine Road and Airport Road when a gray or brown van pulled in front of her. They said two younger male adults got out of the van and tried to get her to leave with them in the van. They said the woman was not able to provide a description of the van and Carson City Sheriff's Office is trying to verify the sequence of events surrounding this incident. They said the description of the suspects does not match the suspects described in the June 9 incident at the gas station.
