The Reno-Sparks Indian Colony (RSIC) has announced it's 12th annual Summer Food Service Program (SFSP).

The program provides free meals for kids and eligible teens 18 and under.

The meals will be served at the Reno-Sparks Indian Colony and in Hungry Valley when the school year is over.

"No child should ever go hungry. Our Summer Foods Program ensures that not just our youth, but all our neighborhood children have nutritious meals in a safe, healthy environment." said Pam Abercrombie, the director of the RSIC Education Department

The SFSP will happen between Monday, June 10th and Friday, August 2nd.

There is no sign-up paperwork and adults are welcome to bring their own meals to eat with their kids.

The meals will be provided without charge.

They will be provided on a first come, first serve basis.

The program will be closed Thursday, July 4th due to the holiday.
