One of two men charged with beating a man trying to sell stolen guns is set for arraignment, Monday morning.

26-year-old Mauricio Gomez of Carson City was arrested after allegedly assaulting Dillon Grimes in November, 2018.

Another suspect, Michael Segna was also arrested and charged with beating Grimes.

Authorities say Grimes called police after being robbed in the Goni Canyon area of Carson City.

Deputies say Grimes was robbed after trying to sell guns he stole during several car burglaries in Sparks.

Grimes was sentenced on April 5th, and he faces four to 14 years in jail.
