The East Fork Fire Protection District is investigating a possible hazmat incident in Douglas County Tuesday morning.

The investigation closed part of 395 at Jacks Valley Road for a couple hours starting around 10 a.m. after someone at the Douglas County transfer station saw a semi-truck truck emit a toxic odor while it was taking off.

Firefighters didn't find anything dangerous in the semi and the road reopened around 12:30 p.m.  

However, firefighters are still investigating the transfer station at the end of Pinenut Road to see if there are any hazardous materials there. Douglas County the transfer station will be "closed indefinitely."

No injuries were reported.
