RENO, Nev. – The 25-2 University of Nevada men’s basketball team is ranked 12th in the Associated Press poll and 13th in the USA Today Coaches poll released today.  The Wolf Pack has appeared in the last 22 polls dating back to last season.  Nevada was sixth in both polls last week and is not in the 10 for the first time this season.

The Pack’s highest ranking of the season was fifth on Nov. 26 in the AP poll and fifth on Dec. 31 in the USA Today Coaches poll.  Both are the highest rankings in school history.

Nevada (25-2, 12-2 MW) hosts intrastate rival UNLV (15-12, 9-6 MW) on Wednesday at 8 p.m. at Lawlor Events Center.  The Pack has won its last 15 home games dating back to last season.  The 25-2 record after 27 games in the best in school history.
