Nevada Health Link is hosting a prep rally for open enrollment at The Grove on Thursday, October 11.

The event is invite-only for health insurance agents and brokers, navigators, insurance carriers and community partners.

Nevada Health Link wants to reach all eligible residents throughout the state and the rally is designed to update, inform and energize stakeholders ahead of the open enrollment period.

Heather Korbulic, executive director for Silver State Health Insurance Exchange, will be providing a presentation on the state of health insurance in Nevada. Roy Tuscany, founder of High Fives Foundation, will also be there to share his story. Tuscany suffered a spinal cord injury in 2006 that left him paralyzed from the waist down. He had secured health insurance just a few months before the incident and he hopes to inspire others on the difference that made during the event.
