UPDATE: The Plumas County Sheriff's Office reports they have found a vehicle belonging to a missing man from Portola, California.

58-year-old Phillip "Garr" Ohle has been missing since September 6.

They said on Saturday, October 6, they received a call that a hunter located a vehicle in the woods west of Lake Davis.

The car was in a heavily wooded area and they said it had been there for quite some time. After two days of searching the surrounding area, Ohle was not found.

A search of the unlocked vehicle revealed several personal items and the ignition was left in the on position. Ohle's wallet and cell phone were left behind as well.

Authorities said they did not find any signs of foul play and nothing appeared suspicious, although the circumstance surrounding Ohle's disappearance is odd.

The investigation is still ongoing and the Plumas County Sheriff's Office Search And Rescue will be conducting more searches of the area with more personnel and search dogs.
