After scoring a last-second goal against in-state rival Las Vegas Lights FC last week, Reno 1868 FC forward Antoine Hoppenot earned USL Team of the Week honors Tuesday.

Hoppenot’s stunning strike in the 95th minute helped Reno capture its first win over Las Vegas and remain in the thick of a playoff berth.

The goal was Hoppenot’s second this season and 14th overall in a Reno kit earning him a spot on the USL Team of the Week bench.

Hoppenot and his teammates hit the road once again Saturday when the club travels to the Midwest to take on Saint Louis FC.

Kickoff for that match is slated for 5:30 p.m. PT.
