Oakland Raiders President Marc Badain, Reno Mayor Hilary Schieve, Clark County Commission Chairman Steve Sisolak and other stakeholders toured potential summer training facilities for the team on Thursday.

The group is expected to tour three separate locations, possibly Wooster and Hug High Schools, and the University of Nevada, Reno.

We've called the University of Nevada, and the City of Reno for a comment.

The Washoe County School District told us:

“We are excited to be considered,” said WCSD Superintendent Traci Davis. “We have multiple facilities that could accommodate the training facility needs of an NFL Franchise, and we look forward to showing Raiders’ leadership these opportunities that our schools can provide. We are optimistic about the potential investment in our school athletic facilities, and community in general.”

After the tour, the group is scheduled to hold a press conference.

Meanwhile, the Oakland Raiders coach’s show, The Silver and Black Show, will air again this football season on KTVN.

It will air at 7:00pm and 11:35pm on Saturday nights, starting September 8th.

The Raiders stadium, currently under construction in Las Vegas, is scheduled to open for the 2020 football season.
