Tuesday Morning Update:
Today will be dry and mild with partly cloudy skies and highs will be in the lower to mid 50's. Wednesday morning will be dry, but a cold front will move through here Wednesday afternoon through Thursday morning bringing snow to the Sierra and possibly the valley as well. Snow totals will range from an inch in Reno to several inches at Tahoe and then a foot and a half at the crest. Places like the hills and Virginia City could pick up around 4 inches of snow by Thursday morning. It will also be windy Wednesday, with wind gusts topping 50mph in most areas and closer to 70 in wind prone areas. Overall, Friday and this weekend will be dry. Have a great day!
