Saturday Afternoon Update:
Storm chances go through 9pm tonight in the Sierra and valley with some of the storms producing heavy rain and frequent lightning. Sunday morning will be hazy with a few clouds and temperatures in the lower to mid 60's. Storms will begin to fire up in the mountains around 2pm Sunday and then in the valley a couple hours later. Storm chances are higher in the mountains tomorrow than in the valley. Again, the atmosphere will stabilize after sunset with another round of storminess Monday and Tuesday afternoon. Rain totals will vary greatly, with some places only getting a trace to others getting several inches. Just depends on the strength of the storm over top of your area. Highs this week will near average with lows in the 60's. Have a great weekend.
