Doina Kulick, M.D., M.S., F.A.C.P., completed her medical training at the University of Nevada and is Board certified both in Internal Medicine and Nutrition. Dr. Kulick received a Master in Clinical Research and Biostatistics from University of Michigan Ann Arbor. She devotes her career to patient care, teaching and research. She had developed several programs for physician supervised weight management, and actively promoted at the national level, the need for the introduction of Obesity in the formal curriculum for medical students and resident physicians. She is involved in expert panels that create testing materials in the area of Nutrition for the physicians' licensing examinations. She teaches at the University of Nevada School of Medicine and Nutrition Graduate Program. The area of her research interests includes functional genomics of obesity and evaluation of new therapeutic interventions for this medical condition.
