Federal authorities have released the name of the Reno woman arrested Thursday after she barricaded herself inside a home near 6th & Record Streets.

The FBI says Jennifer Sandoval faces charges of Sex Trafficking of a Minor Under the Age of 16, Child Neglect, and Obstructing and Resisting Arrest.

The FBI says Sandoval was arrested as part of an investigation into a child sex trafficking group by the Northern Nevada Child Exploitation Task Force.

They say she barricaded herself inside the home with her four children, but surrendered peacefully to the FBI task force members and Reno Police.

Members of the FBI-led Northern Nevada Child Exploitation Task Force, in partnership with the Reno Police Department, Nevada Attorney General’s Office, Nevada Department of Corrections, Nevada Gaming Control Board, and State of Nevada Welfare Investigations helped with the arrest.

The FBI says this investigation is part of expanded focus on human trafficking by the Northern Nevada Child Exploitation Task Force and the Reno Police Department. This is the second arrest related to the ongoing investigation into this group.

The FBI says if you have any information on this case, contact the FBI at 702-385-1281 or local law enforcement.
