University of Nevada seniors Jordan Caroline and Caleb Martin have been named to the John R. Wooden Award midseason watch list. 

Martin was also selected to the Lute Olson Award midseason watch list. 

Both awards honor the Division I player of the year.

The duo has helped the Wolf Pack to 15-1 start and top 10 national ranking. The Pack’s 14-0 start to begin the season tied the school record.

Martin leads the team averaging 18.6 points per game and is second dishing out three assists per contest. On the season he has scored 20 or more points in eight contests including a career-high 33 at Utah that earned him his second Mountain West Player of the Week honor of the season. He is 23 points from becoming the 29th player to score 1,000 points at Nevada. In his college career he has scored 1,528 points.

Caroline tops the team averaging 9.4 rebounds per game and is second in scoring at 18.4 points per game. Three times this season and five times in his career he has been named the MW Player of the Week. His 1,474 points at Nevada is 11th most in school history and his 790 rebounds is eighth.  In his college career he has scored 1,777 points and grabbed 996 rebounds.
