Freshman Madison Taylor from Hazen High School in Kirkland, Wash. has signed with the Wolf Pack to play for Nevada soccer in 2019. She completes an eight-member freshmen class for the upcoming season.
“We are excited about the addition of Maddie Taylor to our roster,” said head coach Erin Otagaki. “She is a left-footed winger who will work up and down the flanks. She likes to get into the attack and get crosses off. Maddie has a tireless work ethic and we are very excited that she is part of the Pack!”
After lettering in soccer from 2015-18, Taylor started all 64 games she played at Hazen High School and scored 34 goals along with 26 assists. Playing in the Far West Regional League, she was named second team All-League in 2015 and 2017, and an All-League honorable mention in 2016.
Taylor also competed for the Pacific Northwest Soccer Club since 2012. Her team was Washington State finalists in 2015 and state champions in 2017.
She decided to attend Nevada because she loves the campus and the goals and energy of the coaching staff. She plans to major in nutrition at Nevada.
