UPDATE: Police have given the all-clear for CNN employees to return to their New York offices, the company says.

CNN reports they have evacuated their New York offices due to a phoned bomb threat on Thursday night.

The evacuation happened around 10:30 p.m. after several fire alarm bells went off inside the CNN New York newsroom.

Staffers evacuated the building and the network has gone to taped programming.

Police and fire personnel responded and have blocked all vehicle and pedestrian traffic on West 58th Street in between 8th and 9th Avenue at Columbus Circle, where the Time Warner Center is located.

This comes after Time Warner Center was evacuated in October after a package with an explosive device was discovered.

This is a developing story.
