Nevada Game Notes

No. 6 Nevada improved to 4-0 after is 90-55 victory over California Baptist (2-2) tonight at Lawlor Events Center before 9,395 fans.

The Wolf Pack plays Tulsa on Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Continental Tire Las Vegas Holiday Invitational at 1 p.m at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.  The game will air on Fox Sports 1.  Tonight’s game was also part of the Continental Tire Las Vegas Holiday Invitational.

Head coach Eric Musselman celebrated his 54th birthday with his 85th win at Nevada.  Musselman is 85-29 leading the Pack, 25-0 in nonconference home games and 47-5 overall at LEC.

After playing its first four games of the season at home Nevada will play its next six games away from LEC.

Nevada put six players in double figures for the first time since Jan. 31, 2018 at home versus Fresno State.  Jordan Brown (16), Trey Porter (14), Caleb Martin (14), Jazz Johnson (11), Tre’Shawn Thurman (10) and Jordan Caroline (10) all scored in double figures tonight.

In the last three games the Pack has had at least five players score in double figures.

Caroline posted his third double-double of the season and second in a row after adding a game high 10 rebounds to go along with his 10 points tonight.  It was his 30th career double-double at Nevada which is tied for fifth most at Nevada with Greg Palm (1980-82).  The Pack is 28-2 when he records a double-double.

Junior Jazz Johnson has scored in double figures in all four games this season and made three 3-pointers in each game.

Nevada scored a season-high 90 points and the 35-point victory is the largest of the season.

The Pack has won all four games by double figures this year.
