UPDATE: The Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner's Office says they have identified the man killed in a rollover crash on Peavine Mountain.

They said 48-year-old Andrew Hyde was pronounced dead at the scene.

They said the cause of death was multiple blunt force injuries and his death was a suicide.

A hiker found a rolled over truck and a body in hilly terrain on Peavine Mountain in northwest Reno on Thursday.

The Washoe County Sheriff's Office is staging their investigation off of Las Brisas Boulevard.

Members of the HASTY Team had to use some of their off-road vehicles to get up to where the truck is due to the steep, rugged terrain.

The Sheriff's Office says at this time, there is no sign of foul play.

They said the victim is male who appears to have been thrown from the truck. A medical examiner is on scene.

Deputies will be shuttling people to and from the scene in off-road vehicles.

Our reporter on scene says there is quite a bit of traffic along Las Brisas Boulevard and officials are asking drivers to slow down.

They are expected to be there for several more hours as the investigation continues.

This is a developing story.
