A new study on the Reno-Tahoe International Airport reveals unexpected and welcomed growth.

The University of Nevada, Reno and the 'EKAY Consultants' company say it’s from our booming population - and the 'Tesla Effect'.

The study shows what this airport growth means for our schools and jobs overall.

"Really gives a deeper dive and shows where the dollars go from all these visitors at our airport, that's four million people coming to the airport every year,” says airport spokesman Brian Kulpin.

More specific information will be released from the study on Thursday.
