The U.S. Forest Service Humboldt-Toiyabe reports a lightning-sparked fire in the Arc Dome Wilderness was downgraded to 424 acres due to mapping.

The Broad Fire is burning near Round Mountain, north of Tonopah and south of Austin, NV.  The smoke is visible from both locations.

The fire started around midnight on Wednesday.

The U.S. Forest Service Humboldt-Toiyabe says there are multiple resources on scene, including four engines, one bull dozer, one water tender, and one hand crew.

There is no word on containment and no structures are threatened at this time.
