Third Suspect Connected to Galena Homicide Now in Custody
Reno Police arrested the third and final outstanding suspect in connection with a deadly shooting.
Reno Police arrested the third suspect in connection with a deadly shooting in Galena in June of 2018.
Police got a tip that Quentin Moore was in the 1400 block of west 7th Street on Wednesday. Around 8 p.m they went to the West 7th Street Apartments.
Authorities say Moore barricaded himself in his apartment.
Reno Police conducted negotiations, and it lasted an hour before Moore surrendered himself to authorities.
Washoe County Sheriff's Office arrested him, in connection to the homicide investigation back in June.
Sunday June 24th around 3:30 a.m., 20-year-old Paul Dobbins was shot and killed in the area of white Cedar Drive and Galena Meadows Road.
The other two suspects, 22-year-old Jamil Geronimo and 21-year-old Tyler Hernandez were arrested in San Diego after Washoe County Sheriff's Office detectives received a Secret Witness tip.
Moore is the third and final outstanding suspect, and law enforcement was able to take make the arrest without incident.
They were able to clear the roads after taking him into custody, and there is no threat to the public.
