New England Patriots and Super Bowl Champion Linebacker Kyle Van Noy is returning to his hometown of Reno, Nevada, to take some special guests from a local foster care agency to a Reno Aces baseball game on Saturday, July 21, 2018, as a part of Christmas in July at Greater Nevada Field. Kyle and his wife Marissa have been working with the Reno Aces and local service agencies to give 53 children and adults from Koinonia Foster Homes & Family Services a very special evening at Greater Nevada Field! In addition to spending the evening with a NFL Pro Linebacker, his wife and a former Miss Utah USA, Kyle’s special guests will receive game tickets to watch MLB’s Arizona Diamondbacks Triple-A Affiliated Reno Aces take on the in-state rival Las Vegas 51’s, hot dogs, chips, soda, Reno Aces swag, and a chance to run the bases after the game!

“I was born in Reno, so this a special homecoming for us,” said Kyle Van Noy. “Marissa and I really want to give back to the community here, and children and foster families are especially close to our hearts. We raise funds all year through our Foundation so we can do special outings like this to let these kids know they are cared about and can achieve anything they put their minds to.“

“We’re extremely excited to host Kyle, his wife, and the entire Koinonia Foster Homes & Family Services team,” said Emily Jaenson, Reno Aces General Manager. “Kyle is one of the most successful athletes to come out of the Biggest Little City and we’re excited to bring his team into our Aces family.”

Foster care is a special mission for the Van Noys. Kyle was adopted as an infant and Marissa’s father and younger brother were both adopted, as well. The young couple is so committed to making a difference in the lives of children, they started their own foundation, the Van Noy Valor Foundation. Through the Foundation they host fundraising events like a Celebrity Server Night, where Patriots’ players serve a gourmet dinner to guests in Boston, Massachusetts, in order to host events like the Reno Aces Game Outing and an annual Christmas Tree Giveaway to help improve the lives of foster care families.

The Reno Aces kick off a three-game series against Las Vegas on Friday, July 20 th at 7:05 p.m. Kyle Van Noy will be throwing out the ceremonial first pitch at 7:05PM to start the festivities at the game on July 21. The Aces are presenting a Christmas in July theme night at the ballpark, featuring the New England Patriots Super Bowl Champ and the Van Noy Valor Foundation.

The Van Noy Valor Foundation was founded by Kyle Van Noy, a Pro Football Linebacker with the Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots, and his wife Marissa, a former Miss Utah USA. The Van Noys are deeply committed to improving the lives of foster children in every way possible. They created the Valor Foundation to encourage personal valor in the lives of adopted children, those in foster care, and disadvantaged youth by armoring them with success through resources, mentors and opportunities.
