South Lake Tahoe Police say they have arrested a 62-year-old man in connection with a homicide on Julie Lane this past weekend.

Police say 62-year-old Roy Figaro of South Lake Tahoe shot 44-year-old Christopher Kitchen at a mobile home park.

Kitchen later died at Barton Memorial Hospital.

Police say Figaro ultimately surrendered to officers. He was safely taken into custody and booked into the El Dorado County Jail for murder.

Upon further investigation, South Lake Tahoe Detectives say they determined there was an argument between the victim and the suspect prior to shots being fired by Figaro.

If you have any additional information that can help authorities, call South Lake Tahoe Police at (530) 542-6100.

Kitchen's family is holding a candlelight vigil Monday at 8:30 p.m at 1080 Julie Lane, the site of the mobile home park.
