The Washoe County Sheriff's Office reports that no one was injured in a water rescue that happened on Monday night at Lake Tahoe.

They said there was an incident two days ago involving a boat that was sinking.

WCSO said the owner of the boat went out in his kayak on Monday night to try and get it up or salvage it.

A witness saw the partially submerged vessel and called it in to the authorities, thinking the owner was in trouble.

A water rescue was initiated and multiple agencies responded, including the Coast Guard, North Lake Tahoe Fire, Sand Harbor Rangers and Washoe County Search and Rescue.

The Washoe County Sheriff's Office said nobody was in danger.
