Reno Police say be on the lookout after two reports of a man grabbing young girls in south Reno.

The first happened Monday on a walking path along Geiger Grade around 6:30 p.m. Police say a man wearing dark running shorts, dark running shoes with a yellow stripe on the side, and Apple ear buds approached a ten-year-old girl and pulled her shorts down. She was able to fight him off.

The second incident occurred two days later on Rio Wrangler Parkway near Copper Springs Drive.

A silver 4-door sedan with 4-5 men inside drove up to a 14-year-old girl. Police say then a man got out, grabbed the girl, and turned her around to face him. The victim reported that the man was either pulling her skirt down or putting his hand under her skirt in a lewd manner. He fled when she fought back.  In this case, the suspect wore a dark shirt and possibly khaki shorts.

The man in both cases is described as Hispanic between 16 and 22 years old, around 5’8”, 160 pounds with short dark hair.

It's unclear if the same man committed both crimes.
