The Washoe County Sheriff's Office reports that they arrested two suspects Tuesday afternoon in connection to the overnight burglary of $40,000 worth of equipment from a REMSA ambulance.

The burglary happened early in the morning on Tuesday. The ambulance was parked outside a REMSA facility near Pyramid Way in Spanish Springs.

Damian Hall, 22 and Levi McGhee, 19, were seen in front of a 7-Eleven on Eagle Canyon Road in possession of the stolen equipment. .

Washoe County Sheriff's Office recognized a suspect matching their description traveling in a van on I-80, and Nevada Highway Patrol pulled them over around noon on State Route 247 and Commerce Center Drive in Fernley. Both men were apprehended without incident.

“No patient information was compromised,” according to a statement issued earlier today by REMSA, “This incident has not impacted REMSA’s system-wide availability.”

The investigation is ongoing and anyone who has any other information about the case is encouraged to contact Washoe County Sheriff's Office or Secret Witness.
