The Lassen National Forest says more than $60,000 worth of equipment was stolen from its radio shop in Susanville early Wednesday morning.

The U.S. Forest Service says burglars took radios, computers and other equipment used by firefighters for fire suppression and public safety from the shop located off of Fifth Street.

The Lassen National Forest is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information on the case.
