Posted: Updated:

A former UNLV football player is scheduled to be sentenced this June after pleading guilty in a sex trafficking case.

36-year-old Richard James Mapp of Las Vegas pleaded guilty to one count of child abuse, neglect or endangerment, according to the Nevada Attorney General’s office.

Authorities say the alleged crimes happened between September and November.

Mapp played football as a receiver for UNLV in the early 2000s.
