Police Arrest Man on Murder Charge After Late Night Shooting in Reno
Reno Police say they have arrested a man on a murder charge after Tuesday's shooting near Grove Street.
Reno Police have a suspect in custody in a murder earlier this week.
Officers arrested 34-year-old Michael Kizer Thursday in Sparks.
He's charged with open murder.
Police say Kizer shot and killed 31-year-old Patrick McDaniel at an apartment complex on Grove Street Tuesday night, while there to buy weapons and ammunition.
Police say McDaniel had stolen them from law enforcement in California and was trying to sell them to Kizer.
Investigators recovered stolen guns and explosive caps on Sutro Street early Friday morning and later found the stolen ammunition.
Police say they're not looking for any other suspects.
