Posted: Updated:

University Police Services is warning the community of possible ticket scam on Craigslist.

On Friday, police say a resident met an unknown male in front of Lawlor Events Center to buy tickets to the Bill Burr show later that evening at the Reno Ballroom in downtown.

Once inside for the show, several other people had tickets for the same seat and row.

The male selling the tickets was described as tall, approximately six feet, with a shaved or bald head wearing dark denim jeans and a bright blue jacket.

Police say he was described to have a Russian accent and stated his first name was Joel.
