Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval is set to marry a veteran of the gambling industry.

Sandoval's office announced Tuesday he will marry Lauralyn McCarthy on Saturday.

According to her bio on Global Gaming Women, McCarthy is currently Vice President of New Markets at Aristocrat Technologies and attended the University of Nevada, Reno.

She has worked in the gaming industry for over 24 years and worked in leadership, development, entrepreneurship and as a consultant.

She also co-founded Cancer Research Racquet and sits on the Great Women of Gaming's Education Committee and co-chairs the Great Women of Gaming Awards.

In the statement released on Tuesday, the Governor's Office says, "The happy couple requests privacy for themselves and their families during this special time.”

Governor Sandoval's divorce with his wife Kathleen was finalized in February of 2018.

“After 27 years of marriage, Kathleen and I have decided to separate and plan to divorce," the governor's office said in a statement. "It’s no secret that the demands of public life are hard on a marriage and ours has been affected in a way neither of us had envisioned or expected. We both remain committed to our three children and we ask that our privacy, and the privacy of all of our family members, be respected during this difficult time.”
