Nevada Announces Mountain West Schedule for Women's Basketball

Posted: Updated:

The Wolf Pack women's basketball team is set to play 18 Mountain West Conference games next season.

The Wolf Pack and first-year head coach Amanda Levens will play eight home-and-home series, as well as two one-time matchups.

“The conference schedule will be a great challenge for our team,” Levens said. “Every night will be a fight and we know we need to be prepared to play our best basketball when we step on the floor against every opponent in the Mountain West."

With the non-conference slate still being put together, the Pack’s full schedule will be revealed shortly. In March, Nevada announced it will play host to Connecticut, one of the most storied programs in the history of collegiate women’s basketball. The matchup between the Pack and the Huskies is scheduled for Nov. 28.

Nevada will open conference play at home on Dec. 28 vs. Fresno State inside Lawlor Events Center, then take a trip down to Albuquerque, N.M. for its lone contest of the year against New Mexico on Dec. 30.

The MW Championship is scheduled for March 5-9 in Las Vegas at the Thomas & Mack Center, where all 11 MW schools will compete in the tournament.

Deposits for 2017-18 season tickets are now available. For more information, call (775) 348-PACK or visit NevadaWolfPack.com.
