Reno 1868 FC's Antoine Hoppenot Named USL Player of the Week

A Reno 1868 FC player took home the USL Player of the Week award for the second straight week.
 
Midfielder Antoine Hoppenot was named Player of the Week on Tuesday, a week after teammate Dane Kelly took home the award. 

Hoppenot received 38% of the poll conducted by a national panel of independent media representing every USL market. The Richmond Kickers’ Alhaji Kamara finished second with 33% of the vote.
 
Hoppenot, Kelly and the rest of Reno 1868 FC head to Sacramento on Wednesday to take on Sacramento Republic FC in the third round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. 
 
The match begins at 7:30 p.m. at Papa Murphy’s Park.
