Holocaust survivor Mitka Kalinski spoke to fifth graders at Anderson Elementary School on Friday.
He told them how he was taken from his home in Ukraine when he was just six years old and taken to the concentration camp at Auschwitz-Birkenau.
He was eventually taken from the camp by a Nazi officer to work on a farm and lived in a barn for years before a Jewish family found him and sponsored him to move to the U.S.
