Nevada Comes Back from 16 Points Down to Top Oakland

After trailing the Oakland Golden Grizzlies by 16 points at the half, the Nevada Wolf Pack men's basketball team would go on to win (82-78) in the first round of the Great Alaska Shootout.

The Pack got off to a sluggish start in the first half missing their first 12 shots before Marcus Marshall three pointer with 14 minutes to go in the half.

Nevada trailed (44-28) to start the second half but went on a (16-6) run in the first 4 minutes to close the gap to 6.

With about ten minutes to go Lindsey Drew and Cameron Oliver forced a steal that led to Drew's dunk that tied the game at 58. A few minutes later Oliver would hit a three pointer that gave Nevada their first lead of the game. 

Nevada would not trail again in the game as they improve to (4-1) on the season.

Marshall led all scorers with 25 points while Oliver dropped in 22 points. Jordan Caroline and Elijah Foster each added 10 points and D.J. Fenner finished with 8 points.

Nevada will take on Buffalo on Friday in a semifinal game.
