Deputies Arrest Man in Connection With Deadly Hit-and-Run Crash in Sun Valley

The Washoe County Sheriff's Office says a Lemmon Valley man has been arrested in connection a deadly hit-and-run crash in Sun Valley on Thanksgiving eve.

Washoe Deputies say 56-year-old Gerald Bracy was arrested on Monday, and booked into the Washoe County Jail on one felony charge of failing to stop at the scene of an accident causing death or personal injury.

Sheriff's Deputies say 60-year-old John Ireland of Sun Valley was hit by a truck on El Rancho Drive near Clear Acre Lane and Maynard Drive.
