At approximately 11:00 p.m. on October 14, deputies discovered the inmate unresponsive in his cell. Deputies and Detention Facility medical staff immediately began lifesaving measures and the inmate was transported by REMSA to Renown Medical Center. He was declared deceased at the hospital shortly after midnight.
