The Wolf Pack Men's Basketball Team is losing it's top three-point shooter in Eric Cooper Jr. The Nevada sophomore has announced he is transferring to an unspecified school. Eric messaged us this afternoon saying ""it was a pleasure being here and playing for this great university for 2 years. i really enjoyed the success we had this year and winning the CBI Championship; it was an amazing experience and I couldn't have gone through it with a better group of guys. I'm going to miss Reno. It has become a second home for me. I am excited to see what opportunities are ahead and I want to thank any and everyone that has supported me this far."
Cooper was a key contributor coming off the bench for the Pack this season. He averaged just over 9-points and 24 minutes per game, but led the team with a total 56, three-pointers.
However cooper told us when he got to Nevada as a freshman, a major reason was because his dad was friends with coach David Carter, who was fired at the end of last season.
