Nevada Grinds Out Victory over Portland St.

The Nevada Wolf Pack is now (4-1) on the season after topping Portland State 76-73 on Wednesday Night.

The Wolf Pack was again led in scoring by Senior Guard Marqueze Coleman who had 21 points to go with 6 assists.

Three other members of the Wolf Pack reached double-figures... forward AJ West had 16 points, guard D.J. Fenner had 12 points, and guard Eric Cooper Jr. hit two key three-point shots down the stretch to reach 11 points.

After winning their home opener the Wolf Pack will now head back on the road Saturday Evening when they face Cal State Fullerton. The game will tip off at 6pm.

    The Aces road trip to Salt Lake City, Utah got off to a rocky start, falling 9 to 6 on Friday night. The Aces out-hit Salt Lake 12-11, but could not overcome a four-run fifth inning. Bradin Hagens got the start tonight for Reno and tossed 4.2 innings allowing eight runs on seven hits.
