Three standout student-athletes signed their National Letters of Intent to play for the Nevada men’s basketball program and head coach Eric Musselman on Wednesday. Musselman also inked a top 100 junior college prospect to a financial aid agreement.

The signees, Musselman’s second recruiting class as the head coach of the Wolf Pack, have been heralded as one of the top classes in the Mountain West and in the country.

“We’re extremely excited about this 2016 recruiting class,” said Musselman. “The staff put in a lot of work, we got a lot accomplished in a short amount of time and it’s a really exciting day for everybody in Wolf Pack nation.”

There are two four-star recruits, one three-star prospect and overall the class is ranked second in the Mountain West and 35th in the country, according to Rivals.com. 247Sports.com put the Pack in the same slot in the MW and 47th nationally.

“Some of the characteristics that we looked for in this recruiting class,” said Musselman, “were players that would play hard, fit into our style of play, could play multiple positions in our position-less basketball and players who would be good students and fit into the academic profile of the university.”
