Nevada women’s basketball coach Jane Albright announced today that junior guard T Moe will undergo season-ending surgery on her right knee.

Moe sustained an injury last week during practice that led to the season-ending diagnosis. The California native was attempting to be back on the court this season after suffering a season-ending knee injury that occurred in the fourth game last year.

“We are all devastated by this news,” Albright said. “It’s something that is out of our control though and we need to keep moving forward. We have an entire season ahead of us and it’s time for us to come together and prepare for that.”

Moe plans to start her rehab shortly after surgery in hopes of being ready for the 2016-17 season.
