On Sunday, Hot August Nights finished a week-long of car festivities. The popular car event concluded with a grand finale parade in downtown Reno which hosted many of this year’s classic car participants.

Executive Director, Tony Marini, says nearly 500 volunteers lined Virginia St. saying goodbye to more than 5,000 attendees and their beautiful classic vehicles.

“We go out with a bang, this parade is probably one of the greatest days of hot august nights,” says Marini.

Following five years of being the executive director, Sunday also marked Marini's last day on the job. But even though he won't be returning for the 2016 event, organizers are already planning for next year's 30th anniversary.
