Lyon County Investigating Woman's Disappearance

Posted: Updated:
The Lyon County Sheriff's Office is looking for a California woman, with ties to Northern Nevada, who has been missing for nearly two weeks.

They say 33-year-old Alea Jane Clark may have been seen walking down Grosh Avenue in Dayton on January 6th, and that she last spoke to her family the day before.

She has blonde hair with blue eyes, 5'7" and about 150 pounds and a tattoo on her left thigh and lower back. Clark has friends and family in Dayton and Silver Springs, but none of them have heard from her since January 5th.

The LCSO says, as part of its investigation, it served a search warrant at a home in the 200 block of Grosh Avenue, where deputies believe she was staying with someone. They tell Channel 2 the search of the home was to get more information into where she may be.

If you have any information on her disappearance or where Alea Clark may be, call the LCSO Detective Division at 775-577-5206 or Secret Witness at 322-4900. You may also email
