St. Vincent's Seeks Donations

Saint Vincent's Food Pantry is asking for donations for its annual "Feeding Families" food drive.


They are looking for the following items: frozen hams and turkeys, boxed stuffing mix, instant mashed potatoes, canned cranberry sauce, canned vegetables and fruit, boxes of custard pudding and non-perishable desserts.


You can drop off any of the above-named items to the food pantry Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.


St. Vincent's is located at 500 E. Fourth Street in downtown Reno.

    The Placer County Sheriff's Office reports two mudslides on Alpine Meadows Road. They said it's between the two Bear Creek Roads but no one was injured or caught in the slide.
