Suspect Arrested for Drive-By Shooting

 Reno Police report that they've found and arrested the suspect for a drive-by shooting on Saturday, August 9th.

The Police Department says that at 12 p.m. on August 9th Officers were called to reports of a shooting in the 2300 block of Patton Drive.

After an investigation, police say they determined that a suspect, Quinzale Mason, had fired several gunshots at another man. Mason missed his target, but he accidentally shot a 4-year-old girl and her mother. Luckily, Police say neither sustained any serious injuries.

On Sunday, August 10th, Reno Police Officers and Homicide Detectives tracked down and arrested Mason. He is expected to be booked into the Washoe County Jail for two counts of battery with a deadly weapon, and one account of assault with a deadly weapon.
